Please Note!<\/strong> You will not be able to book a suite through the website link.<\/em> If you are interested in a suite for the weekend, please book a king room<\/em>, and fill out the room request form<\/a> for the hotel liaison, who will then make sure your reservation is complete. \u00a0The hotel will remove a bed from the room for $200<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Room Parties<\/h3>\n

If you are interested in hosting an amazing room party this year at Penguicon, make sure you check the following steps off of your list:<\/p>\n

  1. Book a room<\/a>\u00a0at the hotel<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Fill out the\u00a0room party request form<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Fill out the\u00a0special request\u00a0form<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 for the hotel liaison to let her know you are throwing a party and need to be on the right floor! \u00a0Note that bed removal and appliances through the hotel have additional fees.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Westin’s Amenities<\/h3>\n

    Each of the guest rooms has a dual-line telephone with voice mail and data port, and a 32″ LCD TV.<\/p>\n

    The Westin is 100% non-smoking. They have a workout room, a pool, whirlpool, and have dog beds available. We would recommend only service animals be brought to the convention.<\/p>\n

    The Westin offers 15 PURE\u00ae Allergy Friendly Rooms designed specifically for guests with allergies or asthma. Surfaces are specially treated and air is continually circulated and purified, “drastically reducing irritants that could keep you from resting comfortably.”<\/p>\n

    The hotel has a limited number of refrigerators (priority to those with medical needs), microwaves, and rollaway beds available. If you are interested in any of these items, please note that the refrigerators and microwaves are $10 each<\/strong> per night, and the rollaway bed is $25<\/strong> a night. They will not place a rollaway bed in a double room.<\/p>\n

    The hotel’s dining options are the Level 1 Lounge and Tango’s Restaurant.<\/p>\n

    Other meal options near the Westin include the\u00a0Original Pancake House,\u00a0CK Mediterranean Grille, Subway, Qdoba, China Gourmet, Chipotle,\u00a0Kerby’s Koney Island, Benito’s, and T.G.I. Friday’s.<\/p>\n
